Disney on Ice

So we went to see "Disney on Ice" today. The show, as it were, is about the Incredibles, from the eponymous movie, going incognito to Disneyland on a vacation. They go on a few rides, and then the bad guy shows up just before the intermission. The second half is all about the good guys fighting the bad guys, although generally speaking I would say that:

1. Superhero fights do not translate well to ice skating routines.
2. Only Mr. Incredible's and Dash's powers can even be performed by actual humans (and Dash didn't fight at all)
3. Frozone was the most useful of the heroes.
4. Given that girls massively outnumbered boys in the child-aged portion of the audience, I question the decision to base the story around superheroes.
5. Erika found the bad guy too scary and therefore didn't enjoy the show.

So I give the whole experience the Jordan Thumbs Down, but Yoshie was happy, and that, as we all know, is what counts.
