We were at a restaurant the other night, and before the food arrives, E announces that she needs to go to the bathroom. Y gets up to go with her, and then E says she'll go by herself! I can verify that she did indeed go off somewhere by herself, and did return a couple of minutes later. Y claims she even asked one of the waiters for directions.
