Speaking of hard cash, the instant we arrived home, Erika's Most Important Thing To Do was to immediately take to pen and paper and write a letter to the Tooth Fairy:
The careful reader will observe that this is (mostly) written upon a zip lock bag, and the thing under the "thank you" is the actual tooth. Personally, I am worried that the Tooth Fairy may not have a supply of dollar coins at the ready, but perhaps a couple of Loonies (that is, Canadian dollar coins) will pass muster? It's not like the money is actually spent or anything.I have actually omitted one important detail here. When we got home, we basically spent 60 seconds dropping off our bags, and rushed right back out to get lunch and go grocery shopping. With Great Reluctance, Erika was persuaded to delay the important Tooth Fairy letter until later. However, she did have a request that I was totally unprepared for, being a guy: she wanted to wear a different jacket.
