Erika has come to that part of life where her pat answer to any question is "No!". Even if the answer turns out to be "Yes," first we have to get a good robust "No!" out of the way first.
However, she is also wily, and it's hard to use this information to your advantage. For example, after a round of "No!"s, I asked her, "Do you know any words besides 'no'?" to which she answered, "Yes," without hesitation.

This is a phase called the "terrible twos". As I recall, you had a pretty good grasp of the word "no" yourself at that age. :-)
