Tonight we went to Prem-On which is a Thai restaurant in Soho. Well, I guess not technically Soho since it's on the north side of Houston (pronounced "how-stun" not "hyuu-stun", because, you know, because.) Anyway, it's sort of two steps underground and has a clean, modern appearance that makes you think you might be in Japan. The low ceiling definitely helps with that feeling. The service was a little awkward but basically okay, and the food rates a solid "3" on the Jordan Scale. The spring rolls were extra yummy, but the "Tokyo" rock shrimp special was a bit weak.
